Coronation Street Sam star shares pics from 'last day' on set after 'tough week'

Coronation Street star Jude Riordan is best known for playing Sam Blakeman in the long-running ITV soap.

The youngster has played Nick Tilsley’s (Ben Price) son since 2020 and has won over legion of fans over the past three years.

However, some fans may not know that Jude also plays Tyler Croft in Brassic alongside former Corrie actress Michelle Keegan.

The 11-year-old actor logged into his Instagram recently to share snaps from his last day filming the fifth series of the Sky Original TV series.

Alongside the series of snaps, Jude penned: “Been too busy to post. Tough week in school – Year 7 Assessment Week.

“All done till next time. Hope all the other Year 7s who’s had a tough week are as happy as I am.

“These are pics from my last day on Brassic 5 from the other week. Had a really great last day, love it when there’s other kids on set.”

Jude’s post caught the attention of his 82,000 followers with some rushing to leave a message for the star in the comment section.

One fan penned: “I’m sure you have done great!!! You must be fab at remembering stuff due to learning your lines lol!!! Can’t wait for Brassic 5.”

Another added: “Well done Jude!!… lovely picture I’m half way through brassic xx.”

A third person wrote: “Jude you will have done amazing.”

While a fourth social media said: “Aww! You are absolutely amazing little guy.”

It comes after Jude Riordan revealed his delight at being given the opportunity to help direct episodes of Corrie with his “co-star” dad, Paul.

The soap star took to his Twitter account to tell his followers the news.

Paul, meanwhile, is a director himself with a wealth of experience having worked on Corrie as well as other shows in soap land including Hollyoaks and Emmerdale.

Jude shared a loving snap of the pair embracing backstage, which he captioned: “My Dad’s Corrie Eps this week @paul_rio #corrie” – alongside a director’s clapper board emoji.

Fans were quick to show their appreciation for Jude’s talents, with one commenting: “Looking forward to seeing this! I hope you gave your dad a few tips Jude x.”

Another wrote: “What a little star you are Jude.”
