Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank left plenty of fans and co-stars in awe as he showed off his new pooch.
The 43-year-old is best known for playing Billy Mayhew on the hit ITV soap – having first appeared on TV screens back in 2014.
While starring as vicar Billy, Daniel has been a part of several dramatic storylines on the show, while picking up a few award nominations along the way.

What’s more, Daniel is no stranger to keeping his loyal legion of fans updated on his life either, often sharing glimpses into what he’s getting up to.
And on Tuesday (April 4) Daniel whipped fans up into a frenzy as he introduced a new member of his family to his followers.
Taking to his Instagram, the soap star shared an image of himself smiling for the camera while holding on to a little Daschund pup – his newest arrival.
“Please let me introduce you to the latest member of the Brocklebank household. Dorris,” he captioned his adorable post.
He then added: “A huge thank you to the @dogstrust for their help.”
It didn’t take long for Daniel’s co-stars to flood the comments section to gush over his new arrival.
Corrie co-star Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah Habeeb in the ITV soap, was quick to respond, writing: “Dorris!!!!” before adding a string of love heart eyes emojis.
While Jane Danson, aka Leanne Battersby, commented with a red heart emoji.
And former Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley, replied: “Omg Dorris,” with a slew of love heart eyes emojis.
Meanwhile, one fan proclaimed: “Omg Dorris such a cutie.”
Echoing their thoughts, someone else added: “Omggg she’s absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy making memories with your new fur baby.”
Dorris is the latest furry friend to join Daniel’s clan, as the soap star is a proud dog dad to two other pups.
In 2019, Daniel revealed on social media that he had ‘a new man in his life’, after adopting an adorable rescue dog called Colin.
Daniel adopted the then-four-month old pup who was being cared for at Dogs Trust Manchester after being illegally smuggled into the UK, saying in a Twitter post: “I have a new man in my life. Peeps, please may I introduce you to Colin.
“A huge thank you to Dogs Trust for all your help & guidance. Adopt & give them their forever home.”
He then announced in 2020 that he had adopted a second dog called Jean in 2020.
Daniel said on social media: “I would like to introduce you all to the newest addition to the family…Colin now has a sister, Jean!
