Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse threw her support behind Ekin-Su after the Love Island star’s Musicals Week routine on Sunday night (January 29).
Oti told Ekin that it’s “not a bad thing to be sexy” after the reality star sparked a backlash with her racy debut routine to Britney Spears’ pop hit Toxic earlier this month.
The steamy dance saw her crawling on the ice in a revealing nude bodysuit covered in silver glitter – a Britney-inspired look.

But some fans weren’t happy with Ekin as the show was slapped with 112 complaints about her outfit.
This week, Ekin toned things down as she dressed as a nun and performed to Do Re Mi from The Sound of Music.
After the skate, Oti was bursting with praise as she told the villa champ: “Ekin you should be really, really, really proud of yourself.
“When you started out on the rock I was like ‘Look at her, acting!’, you were doing so well, and I can see that you were pushing yourself.”
She later gave Ekin some passionate advice referring to the dress backlash, adding: “I also want you to stay true to yourself because you’re such a beautiful young girl, remember that. It’s not a bad thing to be sexy. It is a power that we as women have.”
Ekin and Brendyn managed to bag 23 points out of a possible 40 from the judges on Sunday.

Oti and Ashley Banjo scored Ekin and dance partner Brendyn Hatfield six, while Olympic skating legends Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill gave them five and a half points each.
Co-host Holly Willoughby dubbed Ekin’s debut routine “the sexiest performance we’ve ever had on Dancing on Ice,” while judge Oti Mabuse said the performance was “hot, hot, hot from the outfit to the hair to the makeup”.
Dancing on Ice returns next week on ITV.
