Dancing On Ice pro Vanessa Bauer has broken her silence on her rumoured romance with Joey Essex, admitting they share a “special bond”.
The duo have been batting off the speculation during their time as partners on the show, with TOWIE icon Joey hinting they were more than friends in the past few months.
And now, it appears German pro Vanessa has confirmed there is something going on while making a bit of a dig at her past partners.

Over the past couple of years, Vanessa has been partnered with the likes of Love Island hunk Wes Nelson and Emmerdale actor Joe-Warren Plant.

But speaking of her reality TV legend partner, she told The Sun: “This time I’ve got Joey with me. Obviously we have a bond like I didn’t have with any of my other partners. It’s going to be special.”
Vanessa has been romantically linked to some of her previous partners, but it’s clear now that they were nothing compared to Joey.

Back in January, Joey hinted that he was with Vanessa when Holly described her as his “pro partner slash life partner” when they lift the rink.
The duo were dressed as Danny and Sandy from Grease for their routine, and Joey said: “Danny and Sandy are getting on pretty well, if you know what I mean.”
Vanessa has also been seen at Joey’s plush pad in Essex.

Joey previously struggled to find words to describe Vanessa when he was grilled by television host Lorraine Kelly.
Lorraine told him that “everybody says you’re going out”, to which Joey became a bit flustered.
He replied: “Lovely girl. What? The tabloids? I mean she’s a great partner. She is beautiful, she is a lovely girl and we get on really well.
“It is nice to be with someone who… we literally spend so much time together on the ice so it is nice to er… be happy, yeah.”
But it’s still to be seen whether their partnership will land Joey the top spot, when he takes on The Vivienne and Nile Wilson in the finale.
