EastEnders legend Michelle Collins has revealed she was rushed to hospital last week for urgent care in her “worrying” health battle.
The former Coronation Street actress thanked NHS staff for their care and reassured her fans and followers that she was doing better.
The 60-year-old, who did not share details, said: “Thank you NHS for seeing me this morning at 9am.

“Been a worrying time but hopefully now all OK. When it works, the NHS is fantastic. Don’t destroy it.”
Michelle, who played Cindy Beale in BBC soap Eastenders for 10 years, was flooded with well wishes from fans.
One follower said: “Glad you are OK, Michelle.”

A third added: “Hope everything is good now. Hugs.”
This isn’t the first time Michelle has told her fans of a health scare, as she had to go to a walk-in clinic late last year after suddenly falling unwell.
The star, who also played Stella Price in Corrie, thanked the staff at Finchley Memorial for helping her out.

She said: “Thank you so much, under two hour wait and great staff, doctors, polite, well mannered.
“Thank god we still have these to put less pressure on A&E, had tests and went away with antibiotics.”
Michelle hasn’t opened up about what she has been suffering with, but she has told her followers she’s on the mend.
She thanked her fans for their concern too.

The soap star married her partner Mike in August last year after 10 years together.
However she was forced to defend herself from trolls who took issue with the fact that Mike is 20 years younger than she is.
She said she was “so fed up” with the hate, telling her followers: “I am old, but my heart is young.
“We always have the same years in our soul, I know it’s the perfect age.
“Each year is special and precious and we can live in each. Don’t regret getting old, it’s a privilege that not everyone has.”
