Emmerdale viewers are certain Gabby is set for heartbreak after meeting new beau Nicky.
Nicky and Gabby were revealed to be engaged after Gabby admitted to spending the night with her new lover at Kim Tate’s house.
Kim was clearly unimpressed at the new relationship and didn’t buy the romance.

Meanwhile Gabby introduced Nicky to her step mum Laurel and her mum Bernice, asking if they thought her late dad Ashley would have given the couple his blessing.
While Laurel was largely accepting of the romance, Bernice seemed hesitant, cheekily adding that Ashley “gave his blessing to everyone.”
Soon after, Kim stormed into the pub and crashed the family date, insisting Gabby and her parents to see that Nicky was “just in it for the money.”
Online, viewers also thought Nicky wasn’t in the relationship for the right reasons.
One wrote: “Deffo something dodgy about nicky like #emmerdale”
“This is too sickly. Nicky must be a wrong ‘un!! #Emmerdale,” a second put.
“Why is Nicky always smirking and smiling. Something strange there,” a third added.
Other fans were certain Nicky was connected to someone in the village, either the Tates or Cain’s brother Caleb.

“Could Nicky be Zoe Tate’s son? #emmerdale,” one suggested.
“Right!!!! me and mum got it we think that Nicky and Caleb are father/son!!!!” another added.
A third wrote: “Caleb sticking up for Nicky.. Nicky is definitely Caleb’s son or relative. 100%”
One fan noticed that Nicky made a slip up when referencing his dead mother, saying that she “is beautiful,” before quickly correcting himself and saying, “was beautiful.”

“Nicky said “is” when on about his dead parent and then quickly corrected himself to “was”, he is definitely lying and up to something isn’t he? #Emmerdale,” they wrote, noticing the mistake.
