Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of the most loved romantic comedies – but where are some of the big stars now?
The beloved movie featured stars such as Mila Kunez and Jason Segal, and focused on the Segal’s character Peter Bretter’s unlucky love life.
Most of the stars went on to land huge roles, including one of them becoming a Disney princess.

Since 2008, the star’s careers have only gotten bigger and we have seen some of the beloved faces on other TV shows and in new movies.
Daily Star has taken a look at what happened to the movie’s biggest stars, from their careers to their personal lives.
Jason Segal

Jason Segal was the male lead in the movie and played the character of Peter Bretter.
After the movie, he approached Disney in 2007 to write the latest Muppets movie..
Disney whether he would be the right fit because of his frontal nudity scene in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but after realizing that he was a fan, the project was approved.
Jason has also appeared in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, Bad Teacher, The Five-Year Engagement, Otherworld and created and starred in the American drama television series Dispatches from Elsewhere.
As well as becoming a successful actor Jason is also an ordained minister. He performed a wedding for a couple that solicited his services by placing pictures of him around his home town and the bar he frequently visited.
Paul Rudd

Paul Rudd’s character in Forgetting Sarah Marshall isn’t on screen for a long time but is undoubtedly one of the most memorable parts of the film.
Paul plays a surf instructor named Chuck, but he prefers to go by his “Hawaiian name” Kunu.
In 2013 Paul was officially confirmed as cast in the 2015 Marvel film Ant-Man and has been involved in the Avengers movies since.
Paul and fellow actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan have also been co-owners of Samuel’s Sweet Shop, a business that they saved from closing when the owner, a friend of theirs, passed away.
Russell Brand

It is hard to forget Russell Brand’s hilarious role In Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Russell has received three British Comedy Awards: Best Newcomer (2006), Best Live Stand-Up (2008), and the award for Outstanding Contribution to Comedy (2011).
Since 2016, Brand has been training in the martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has earned a purple belt and he credits it with improving his life in many ways.
Russell’s wild love life also hit the headlines as he married Katy Perry in 2010 before announcing their divorce a year later.
As they hadn’t signed a prenuptial agreement, Brand was entitled to half of her estimated $44million fortune but declined to do so.
Since 2015, he has been in a relationship with Sky presenter Kirsty Gallacher’s sister Laura, with whom he shares two daughters.
Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis has certainly been busy since she played the leading lady, Rachel Jansen, in the iconic rom-com.
As well as appearing in several movies, Mila has had two children and married Ashton Kutcher. Alongside her husband Mila developed her own wine, named Quarantine Wine, with 100% of the proceeds going to give aid during the pandemic.
The pair also started a gofundme page to help two online companies (Airbnb and Flexport) to aid refugees fleeing the violence in Ukraine.
Mila has also revealed that she and husband have refused to leave any of their £220million fortune to their children Wyatt and Dimitri, eight and six.
A report in 2015 claimed: “Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis reveal they will donate their $275 million fortune to charity and not leave anything for their children.
“They say they don’t want their children to become spoiled and entitled, and want them to be motivated to work hard.”
Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell put on a fantastic performance as the mean girl Sarah Marshall in the rom-com.
After appearing in several other films Kristen became the voice of Princess Ana in the hit Disney film Frozen.
She also appeared in the NBC show The Good Place.
Kristen also starred in hit Netflix series Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window and sent fans wild as she appeared in racy sex scenes.
After a particularly raunchy moment where Kristen’s character could be seen romping around her house, Kristen apologised to a fan who complained about explicit the scene was as he was watching it with his mother, as she replied: “Hahahahaha sorry dude.”
