Good Morning Britain star Laura Tobin shared a message with fans before she changed out a red dress while filming from South America.
The meteorologist, 41, has been reporting from Kourou, French Guiana, ahead of the Juice mission launch which will see a spacecraft begin its eight-year journey to explore Jupiter’s Moons.
Laura said the European Space Agency reached out to GMB, inviting them as a UK exclusive and has been regularly updating fans on what she has been getting up to.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday (April 12), the star explained she needed to change out of her red outfit ahead of the launch because the colour red is a “sign of warning”.

“I am back in my hotel room and I am changing out of this red dress,” she told her 164,000 followers
Laura added: “I will not be wearing it for launch day on Thursday because the only superstition that they have is not to have red in the mission control centre because red is a sign of a warning.
“The screens need to be green, green for go, green for launch, so I will be making sure this stays firmly in the wardrobe.”
She added the caption: “Note to self. Do not wear red on launch day.”

Reporting live during an appearance on GMB on Thursday (April 13), Laura discussed the launch in more detail with presenters Richard Madeley and Charlotte Hawkins.
She told the duo: “Everything is on track at the moment to go completely well. You need four things to harbor life. You need enough energy, the right elements, water and a stable environment, and they think they have all of those on Ganymede so it is very exciting.”
But this didn’t go down well with fans as the mum-of-one was branded “tone deaf” after travelling to South America despite preaching about climate change.

Slamming the GMB star on social media, one wrote: “Laura’s jollies are getting totally ridiculous. They are hypercritical given her stance on climate change and not wanted by the vast majority of viewers.”
Another fumed: “@GMB Greta Tobin reducing her carbon footprint from French Guyana. What a hypocrite!!! Don’t preach climate change to us Laura!!!”
“I hope this weather broad flew economy to offset her carbon footprint #GMB,” added a third.
While a fourth shared: “Good to see Laura the explorer saving her carbon footprint by flying out to French Guiana to speak about space exploration.”
