Gogglebox legend Sandra Martin has candidly confessed that she is unemployed and “living off loans without paying them back.”
The TV favourite, along with pal Sandi Bogle, were the OGs of the show back in 2013 – when Gogglebox first started. For three years, the Brixton-based pals left the nation in hysterics thanks to their one-liners.
But in 2016, Sandi decided to jump ship first and left the smash hit Channel 4 show. Following her exit Sandra’s daughter Chanchez took her place on the sofa.

However it didn’t take long for Sandra to follow suit. Just a year after Sandi said goodbye to Gogglebox, Sandra left the show too.
Four years after her exit, Sandra wound up back on benefits due to her TV work drying up. Now, she’s revealed that she isn’t working at all and is lives off “celebrity loans” that she doesn’t pay back.
Speaking to The Sun, Sandra said: “I get celebrity loans. No, they don’t get paid back, I don’t give it back.”
The TV star also went on to add how she was currently renting a private property in Hastings – which was “free as well.” She added: “I get free money – everyone knows.”
Sandra also revealed: “I don’t work, so I can’t get paid. But they pay for my expenses, the hotels. Someone took me to Amsterdam and Ibiza – I get a lot of free trips, I’m just not getting paid.”
After her Gogglebox exit, Sandi, who owned a pub, appeared in several pantomimes and on series 20 of Celebrity Big Brother in 2017. She finished in ninth place on the show – which was won by Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding.

Earlier this year, Sandi admitted she and Sandra are still close friends and Sandra often comes to watch her shows. Sandi said: “No matter what we go through, she’s always got a room here for her, and she’s always got a room for me.
“We’re besties. We’ve been through, ups, downs, thick and thin, the worst, the wears, the tears, the bumps, the laughs,” she added.
