Hairy Bikers' Si King and Dave Myers 'excite' fans as they share transformation

Hairy Bikers stars Si King and Dave Myers excited their fans with the news of their upcoming cookbook.

The BBC duo famously release new recipe books on a regular basis and the excitement always stirs up, so it’s no surprise their fans were quick to share their thoughts on the news.

As the pair revealed the update that their book will be coming out in May, they showed a video with some behind-the-scene clips as they prepared for their pics.

The duo were filmed getting their hair and beards trimmed before the clip moved over to the cameraman taking photos of them with food in front of them.

Fans were also able to see a rough shot of what could be one of the final images selected.

The duo looked thrilled as they smiled for the snaps and showed off their freshly cooked meal with a recipe straight from the book.

As the clip was shared online, the pair wrote: “Hello everyone! Today we’re having the photoshoot for our new upcoming book.

“Eat well everyday will be out May 11th, so keep your eyes peeled! Here’s a little behind the scenes for all of you, showing you what goes on into getting the perfect cover for our books.”

Their fans immediately flocked to the comments to share their excitement – while others couldn’t help but notice they had a mini transformation and scrubbed up incredibly well.

One user wrote: “Look at you two! Scrub up well,” while another said: “Hello you two, both looking good!”

A third added: “Look good! Excited for the new book.”

Others were commenting on how well Dave is looking after he revealed he has cancer, with the star confirming just last month that his treatment is still “ongoing”.

He said on BBC Breakfast that he’s “doing alright” and adding it is “something that one learns to live with.”

He said that he “might get back to filming” this year and said BBC has been “brilliant” but added filming would need to fit in with his treatment, so he’s not committing to anything just yet.
