One episode showed the moment a customer brought in a special device intended to help people with hair regrowth and shop owner Les Gold thought Bobby could benefit from the clever gadget.
Viewers watched as he placed the helmet onto his head as it got to work, leaving people wondering if it actually did anything years later.
Bobby told the Daily Express: “No, unfortunately not,” explaining: “It gave no hair growth at all,” and adding: “All that thing did was left those little holes on my head and made me sweat, that was about it.
“That guy’s name, I will never forget him, he was John Putname, just one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met in my life.

“Just so full of energy and just a really kind guy, he was really cool.”
Bobby spoke of the weird and wonderful items brought to him and the team during his time on the wild TV show.

“They would probably ask them ‘hey did you want to sell this on the show?’ That’s what makes the most sense to me because people aren’t just walking in with these things.”
