Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has spoken out for the first time about co-parenting following her split from professional footballer Scott Sinclair.
The 32-year-old, who recently appeared on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, was with Scott for 13 years after meeting in 2009.
The pair who got engaged in 2018 also share three children together, Matilda, eight, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two.

But fans were left stunned when Helen and Scott, 34, called time on their relationship.
However, opening up on her family dynamic now, Helen admitted that things are “pretty much drama-free” but she does sometimes need help when she’s working.
She told The Sun: “I co-parent with Scott. We were together for a long time. So he lives with his mum in Bristol and I live in Manchester with the kids. I get on really well with Scott’s mum.”
She later added: “The kids see their dad all the time, they see their nana a lot. We’re always in Birmingham a lot to meet with the kids halfway.
“The kids have an amazing time when they are with me too. I have a friend that helps me, because obviously I work as well. I work nearly every day so I do have a friend that comes to help me because well, I’m not a superwoman.”
The star also spoke openly about feeling guilty when she jetted to South Africa to work on I’m A Celeb and confessed “as women I don’t think we can ever win”.
Although many believed that Helen and Scott were back together after she appeared to seemingly wear her wedding ring, this was later confirmed as not true.
As fans began to speculate, Helen took to Instagram and wrote under one of her posts: “My ring is @laraheems_jewellery I always wear it as I find it a comfort as I’m used to having a rock on my finger.”
She then told OK Magazine that she split from Scott in July last year.
Addressing the ring rumours once again and said: “That’s so typical of me – I didn’t even think about wearing a ring on that finger!”
