Holly Willoughby appears downcast as she’s seen first time since co-star feud rumours

This Morning’s Holly Willoughby has been spotted for the first time amid reports she has “cut ties” with her ITV co-star.

The presenter looked downcast as she stepped out to run errands in Hampshire.

The 42-year-old host seemed to be deep in thought as she strolled through town with her eyes covered with sunglasses.

In the snaps, Holly could be seen wearing a camel-coloured trench coat, with blue denim jeans and white trainers.

Holly could be seen walking down the street, with some moments catching her checking her phone.

This comes after reports have claimed that the presenting pair are “barely speaking” off-camera.

According to reports, their friendship has been strained for “some time” due to their ITV roles.

An insider told The Sun: “Should he leave, she’d want to stay.”

The ITV veterans have fronted the show daytime show for 14 years but their future on the show is hanging in the balance.

The source also said that Holly is reportedly “distancing herself” from her co-star and pal.

This comes after Phil’s brother’s recent court case which accused him of sexual assault with a minor.

The course continued: “Holly adores This Morning and for the first time in 14 years she has made it clear that should Phil ever leave she would want to stay. They are separate entities.

“To those around them on set, it has become clear recently that Holly and Phil are not as close as they once were.

“Professionally you would have no idea there was anything going on because on camera they are acting exactly the same.

“But behind the scenes their relationship has cooled. Before there would be a lot of banter and camaraderie off-camera but that has dwindled.”

The Sun was also told that despite them both going prior “rough patches” before, that they’ve been able to work through, this time it “seems different.”

Though Phil also released a statement and told the publication: “We’re the best of friends — as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.

“Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.

“The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.”
