This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby was left very red-faced as she admitted to viewers that she’d fallen over on set during the advert break.
Phillip Schofield told viewers all about missing Alison Hammond’s birthday party due to it being his daughter Ruby’s birthday, but said he’d seen plenty of pictures from the wild bash.
Holly then revealed that there had been a performance including a dance troupe doing a death drop, as she tried to demonstrate to viewers.
She admitted she’d attempted the move during the advert break but had slipped over, admitting her knees “had buckled under her weight”.
As Holly said that she wouldn’t attempt the move whilst wearing heels, she insisted she thought she had fallen elegantly despite slipping over and nearly landing face first.
She said: “I didn’t show anything did I?” as a clip showed a slow motion video of Holly falling over on the set, as Phillip said: “No you didn’t flash your knickers.”
Holly was wearing an elegant black and pink patterned blouse tucked into a black skirt, which she paired with black tights and heeled boots, meaning she risked a wardrobe blunder during her fall.
The pair then ended up with the giggles as they lost track of what was happening in the show, before eventually realising they needed to link to Loose Women.
As Ruth Langsford appeared on screen, Phillip and Holly apologised for keeping her waiting, as Ruth insisted they carry on as she was enjoying watching.
Ruth then joked: “Make sure you don’t give yourself a permanent injury Holly,” as the blonde presenter burst into giggles again.
The pair then moved onto Spin to Win as Holly joked she was building herself up to another death drop, with Phillip urging her to not let her knees give out again.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
