Holly Willoughby has revealed that she’s likely to pull out of hosting ITV’s This Morning all week after being struck down by a nasty illness.
The TV star took to Instagram on Sunday (April 16) with a sad update for fans where she revealed that she has been suffering from Shingles and won’t be able to return to This Morning until she’s better.
Holly, 42, said: “Hi, just to let you know, I may be away for the rest of the week as I have Shingles.”

She added: “I’ll be back as soon as I’m better. Huge love.”
Holly normally presents This Morning from Monday to Thursday every week with co-host and pal Phillip Schofield before Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond take over on Fridays.
It is not yet confirmed which presenter would be stepping in for her this week while she recovers from the illness, which is a skin and nerve infection that causes a painful rash.
This Morning has aired a number of presenter shake-ups as both Holly and Phillip have taken time off from the show over the Easter period.
The presenter changes has seen both Alison and The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett host the show with Holly.
It comes as Phillip Schofield’s future on This Morning appears to have been confirmed after his three-week absence.
A source told The Sun that he will return to This Morning this week and will host alongside Rochelle Humes.
It comes after Phillip’s brother Timothy was found guilty of sexually abusing a teenage boy over a three year period.
Last week, Alison and Dermot took over in the studio with Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle helping out too.
It seems fans wanted them made permanent fixtures as they flocked to Twitter during the braodcast.
One wrote: “Nice to see Josie and Craig on today. Make them permanent ffs. #ThisMorning”
Another added: “Can we have Craig & josie as presenters Fulltime #ThisMorning.”
