The new Barbie movie is being released today and being a girlie girl, I couldn’t be more excited.
The Barbiecon fashion is one that I have loved since I was a little girl and the latest influx in all things pink has been welcomed by me with open arms.
I have lusted over the outfits that the celebs have worn at the premiere of the movie and I have kept track of Margot Robbie’s fabulous outfits.

However I did wonder, what would it be like to just wander around in the outfit when you aren’t attending the glam events and premieres.
So I decided to pay a visit to Harlow McDonalds and try and judge what the reaction would be.
In all honesty I did wonder if anyone would even notice given all the glam girls in Essex, but they definitely did.
I really enjoyed getting myself done up for the trip out, I added in my hair extensions, some pink lippy, a hot pink blazer and a skimpy pink dress.
To accessorise I added a chunky pair of vibrant pink high heels, a pair of huge sunglasses and a very Barbie-like pink fluffy handbag.
Before heading the the famous fast food joint I decided to pop into Cineworld to see if they had a Barbie box that I could take a cheeky snap in front of.
Sadly they didn’t but with the help of an incredibly sweet staff member I did get a picture in front of a Barbie sign.
After my little detour, I went for the real mission – getting myself some chicken nuggets.
I chose to go to McDonald’s at around 7 pm and it was packed with plenty of people grabbing an evening bite to eat.
As I walked into the entrance I noticed plenty of people looking at me and were clearly wondering who I was and what I was doing dressed up like Barbie.
Weirdly though, I don’t think that anyone was being judgemental, they were genuinely just interested in what was going on.
Overall I think I have decided I might be dressing as Barbie more often, it’s nice to feel fabulous.
