ITV I’m A Celebrity fans say ‘it’s a shame’ as huge Celebrity Cyclone feature axed

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! fans were gutted after realising the show had made a huge format change.

The hit ITV programme returned on Saturday night (December 9) and viewers watched as the final four took on Celebrity Cyclone. After completing the trial, Josie Gibson, Sam Thompson, Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage headed back to camp and spoke about how much they enjoyed the trial.

But fans noticed something strange. In previous years, celebrities return to camp and are tasked with finding a choc ice. The ice creams are normally hidden around camp and the stars have to locate them before they melt.

Realising the iconic element was missing, fans raced to social media to share their thoughts. One person wrote: “Excuse me #ImACeleb where are the choc ices? You have to find a choc Ice after celebrity cyclone.”

A second asked: “Where’s Choc ice hunt challenge? It’s usually a tradition after the cyclone they get treat if they can find it before it melts.” Another echoed: “Where is the choc ice hunt!!”

A fourth weighed in: “No choc ice after cyclone which is a shame but final deals on wheels reward has to be choc ice especially as it’s from ice cream van.” Someone else agreed: “I miss the choc ice time after celebrity cyclone.”

This time, the celebrities took on one final Kev’s Deals on Wheels challenge. Arriving at Snake Rock, Kiosk Kev revealed what they would have to do.

He said: “G’day celebrities. The public has been asked to put you in order, according to various characteristics. One being the most, four being the least. All you have to do is put yourselves in the correct order. Get the order right five times and you’ll win those Dingo Dollars.”

After having to swap their order a few times to get the line-ups correct, they were victorious. And completing the task successfully meant they went to Kiosk Kev’s ice-cream van and saw their prize being whipped up in front of them.

Sam exclaimed: “Oh my god it’s ice-cream!” Their excitement was taken to the next level when Kev added a flake to their treat. Josie confessed: “It’s the best day of my life, thank you so much.”
