ITV I’m A Celebrity Josie Gibson’s two-word response as she’s axed before final

Josie Gibson has been eliminated from the jungle on I’m A Celebrity – and she cried out: “Thank you!”.

During Saturday night’s show (December 9), Ant and Dec arrived in camp and revealed the This Morning presenter had received the fewest votes. When her name was announced, Josie couldn’t hide her excitement as she jumped up and yelled: “Yes” before thanking the hosts for delivering the news.

As she hugged her fellow campmates, the 38-year-old declared: “I get to see me little boy!” That leaves Sam Thompson Nigel Farage, and Tony Bellew as the final three contestants.

In her exit interview with Ant and Dec, Josie opened up about facing her fears but confirmed she is yet to conquer them. “If I wasn’t scared of spiders before, I am totally petrified of them now,” she confessed.

“I have never seen spiders like it. It’s like they’re on steroids, half of them have got testicles!” Josie admitted it was an “honour” being the last female contestant in camp. “I’m a girls girl but it was nice to be in with the boys,” she told the Geordie duo.

At the end of their chat Josie confirmed she wanted either Sam or Tony to be crowned King of the jungle. She said: “Sam has just got a magic about him. He’s been entertaining from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep.”

The presenter admitted that Sam helped raised her spirits in camp before confessing she loves the way Tony speaks about his family. Earlier in the episode, the four stars took on the one Trial that everyone loves – Celebrity Cyclone.

Tony said in camp: “I reckon the world is close to coming to an end. I’ve got hot pants on and I’m going to jump on an inflatable toy with Nigel Farage.”

Commenting on their outfits, Josie exclaimed: “I don’t know where to look.” Arriving at the Cyclone, Nigel joked of the outfits: “Feeling a touch self conscious today, but we’re here…” Tony chipped in: “I’m now looking for a property in Australia… I can’t go home.”
