ITV I’m A Celebrity’s Fred Sirieix got brutal advice from Gordon Ramsay amid ‘feud’

Fred Sirieix is set to let rip at his rivals on I’m A Celebrity.

The First Dates hunk, 51, has been advised to stand up for himself by fiery pal Gordon Ramsay. He told the Daily Star Sunday: “Gordon called me. He told me, ‘Fred don’t take any s***’. That’s what he said.

“I am a very honest and truthful person and I think that’s the way to go and that’s the way I live my life. I think that dealing with conflict is something that’s difficult for any human being and people are not so sometimes prepared to deal with conflict.”

French star Fred is expected to clash with former Brexit Party boss Nigel Garage because of their different political beliefs. Other contestants include no-nonsense food critic Grace Dent and boxing champ Tony Bellew.

Fred said: “I have no idea of what it’s going to be like to live with these people, what they’re going to be like, but I am very ready mentally and physically. I cannot be more ready than I am. You don’t know what he’s going to be like until you get there.”

Fred is one of the bookies’ favourites to win the series and he’s hoping to beat other campmates to become King of the Jungle. He said: “I’d never undertake anything without wanting to win I am naturally very competitive.

“Of course you want to win and you want to win in the right way and have fun while you’re doing it. And you do your best and then you just go for it.”

Campmate and former politician Nigel Farage has warned that he’s going to be “impatient” if he gets too hungry. Speaking to The Sun, Nigel said: “If I’ve got a fault, well, sometimes I can get a bit impatient.

“I think that being short-tempered is something I’m prone to a little bit and I guess in there, food deprived, I’m going to have to learn to be patient with people even if they’re goading me.”

The series starts Sunday (November 19) at 9pm on ITV1.
