Jamie Foxx suffered a “medical emergency” as he was rushed to the hospital, his daughter said.
The Hollywood actor’s daughter Corinne gave fans an update as she told his fans that “he is already on his way to recovery.”
News of the incident broke on Wednesday (April 11), a day after the incident reportedly had taken place.

Corinne Foxx, 29, announced on social media: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”

TMZ added that following the ordeal, the award-winning actor is now “communicating”.
The issue was so severe that Jamie’s family rushed to the actor’s side while he was in the hospital, according to the outlet.
No further details on the star’s condition have been shared so far, as it is unclear what Jamie suffered from.
After news of the incident made its way on social media, Jamie’s loyal legion of followers wished the actor a speedy recovery and good wishes on Twitter.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “Fam, can they please not scare me about Jamie Foxx like that? My heart d**n near sank. I’m glad he’s okay tho!”

It comes a few weeks after filming for his recent movie, Back in Action, with Cameron Diaz was propelled into chaos after two unexploded World War 2 bombs were found on set.
