Kavos Weekender star axed from ITV series after bosses found out he's secret porn star

Former Kavos Weekender star Tyler D’cruz was axed from the scandalous ITV show after his secret career in porn was found out by bosses.

The 24-year-old holiday rep, who appeared on the show’s launch episode last week, makes X-rated adult films under the pseudonym Liam Burlington.

The part-time model described himself as “tall, dark and handsome” when he was brought in as a surprise rep to ‘disrupt the cast’ in the first episode.

Speaking to The Sun at the show’s launch party, he revealed his game plan on the show: “I came in to stir the pot and brighten up the boy reps, they needed an extra good-looking guy in there, a bit tall, dark and handsome.

“There was a lot of drama between reps and guests, it was great fun,” he added.

However, Tyler’s past side hustle created a problem for the show’s bosses, who “had no idea” about his past.

“The Kavos Weekender production company had no idea about Tyler’s porno past and were shocked when they found out,” a source told The Sun.

“He is a central part of the action on the current series, but it’s not ideal as they like to think of themselves as a tongue-in-cheek, naughty show rather than X-rated or graphic,” they added.

The insider added that Tyler was “grateful” for the platform the programme provided, but acknowledged he “can’t change” the past and hopes people won’t judge him too harshly.

Despite his aims to make it on the show, a spokesperson for the show’s production company sent their well wishes but confirmed he’d been axed.

“Once we became aware, it was agreed with Tyler that his role in the series wouldn’t continue beyond the filming that was already completed,” they said.

They concluded: “Our duty of care to everyone involved in this series is our priority and support is available to all our reps. We wish Tyler the very best for the future.”
