Lorraine Kelly was left mortified after GMB host Ben Shephard brought up the x-rated texts her hubby apparently likes to send.
Ben and co-host Susanna Reid were back on TV screens on Thursday (February 2) presenting the latest instalment of the morning show.
But as Lorraine Kelly dialled in from her own studio, things took a slightly awkward turn leaving national treasure Lorraine blushing.

Speaking to viewers, Lorraine gave a preview of what was to come on her self-titled show.
However, Ben then quizzed her on a story in the paper’s which involved her husband, Steve Smith’s saucy texts.
The Tipping Point presenter said: “I am just reading a page in the Star. And I was just wondering whether Stevie has text you this morning? I know this is your first appearance… so maybe he has been unable to see you on air just yet.”

Lorraine asked: “Yes?” as Ben replied: “So has he? Has he text you anything on air this morning?”
Looking slightly awkward and sheepish, Lorraine replied: “Not quite. How? What? What’s happened?”
Ben who was addressing the article, said: “Well it would appear he is very generous with his affections while you are on air.”
She suddenly gasped and asked: “What’s the story here?” to which Ben replied: “Susanna, he likes to say how good Lorraine is looking in the morning. In an affectionate way.”

Red-faced Lorraine then replied: “It depends what I am wearing. It depends how much I am showing. Sometimes he does.”
The TV presenter’s admission left Susanna in shock, as Lorraine added: “Sometimes he does say “nice boobies.””
She then asked the GMB hosts: “How did you get hold of that? Where did that come from?
“Have I been talking too much again?”
Susanna gushed: “As we’re coming up to Valentine’s Day, how lovely. Your husband still texts you to say ‘Nice boobs’.”
Ben then quipped: “Next time Lorraine’s on her show and she looks down at her phone, it could be Steve sending a little message.

Lorraine, who was wearing a button up dress adorned with a geometric design, pointed to her ensemble and said: “This dress isn’t going to get any comments from him this morning though, Ben.”
He replied: “I’m sure he will send you something lovely regardless.”
Lorraine has been married to Steve since 1992 and the couple share daughter Rosie together.
In the interview with Women’s Weekly, Lorraine opened up about her relationship with Steve, describing him as a “real boob man.”
She said: “Of course intimacy is important at whatever stage of a relationship you’re in – you’ve got to keep that alive. After 30 years, Steve still fancies me.
“He’s a real boob man and will text during the show if I’ve got a dress on to say ‘Nice Boobs’!”
