Love Island’s Kady McDermott blurted out a brutal comment towards newly-reconciled couple Tyrique and Ella.
On Tuesday night’s show (July 11), the contestants played a game where they “threw shade” at their chosen couple.
After Kady and Ouzy chose Ella and Tyrique and visa versa, the two sets of Islanders felt tension between one another.
This led to Kady spitting out a brutal comment when the game was finished.
She said to the group: “Ty and Ella, you should put that much effort into your relationship.”
Their co-stars gasped and cringed as the couple both fumingly glared back at her.
After the challenge, the Islanders were sitting separately in different groups talking about the comment.
And Ella said about Kady: “She always wants to be involved in drama, I’m not even going to entertain it she just wants to stir the pot.”
Then it cut to Kady chatting about Ty and Ella and Kady claimed: “You know Ty flirts with me like five times a day and I would never say anything but if you’re going to put shade on me…”

Fans took to Twitter to jump to the couple’s defence, with one writing: “Kady and her one liners are annoying #loveIsland”
A second added: “#LoveIsland at least Ella and Tyrique are in a real relationship, Kady and didn’t have to come back on love island for a 2nd time.”
While a third penned: “That comment wasn’t needed kady #loveIsland”
“Ella is right Kady just wants attention kmt #loveIsland,” a fourth posted.
A fifth put: “No way Kady is pretending she doesn’t know where ‘second best’ came from #LoveIsland”
“Kady he flirts with everyone lovely calm down #LoveIsland,” a sixth shared.
Whereas another stuck up for Kady and said: “Ella saying Kady always wants to be involved in drama when kady has done literally *nothing* since she got here lmao #loveisland”
While another directed a tweet at Ella, which read: “No can you entertain it. we’ve been overdue the Kady, Tyrique and Ella fight #loveisland”
