Love Island fans 'work out' Tanya's 'game plan' as they rumble bizarre accent clue

Love Island fans watched on in delight tonight as Casa Amor made a comeback, but fans were distracted when they spotted an Islander’s “game plan”.

Taking to Twitter as the episode on Sunday night (February 12) played out, fans were quick to speculate how one of the girls’ accents was “masked”.

Fans have figured out Tanya Manhenga’s “game plan” with some saying that she “masks” her Liverpuddlian accent in parts of the show she thinks won’t make the edit.

Referring to Unseen Bits, which airs on Saturday nights, one fan took to Twitter and penned: “Unseen was interesting.

“When Tanya thinks she’s not going to be on the main show, she talks in her normal Liverpudlian accent, but then when she knows she’ll be on the show, out comes the fake accent.”

The viewer concluded: “She’s so playing up to the cameras I don’t believe a word she says.”

And many Love Island fans have been saying the same thing about Tanya’s accent for days, with another person recently writing: “Well Tanya couldn’t keep up her nice girl image. She’s letting her fake accent slip too.”

With a third writing: “Haven’t heard Tanya’s [Liverpudlian] accent in a long time sun ain’t adding up.”

“Tanya’s accent is from all over the UK,” added a fourth.

While a fifth said: “Tanya doesn’t sound like she’s from Liverpool at all. I only ever hear the accent on a very few words she says.”

This comes as Tanya and her beau Shaq experience a rocky patch in their relationship.

Tanya and Shaq have been going strong recently, with the pair getting frisky in the hideaway and then going exclusive and saying that they love each other.

But since Shaq confronted Ron a few times and urged him to help clean up in the kitchen, Tanya has been saying that she’s got “the ick”.

Comparing Shaq to one of her ex-boyfriends, the couple seem to have hit a bump in their seemingly perfect romance.

And now with Casa Amor in full swing, will Tanya remain faithful to Shaq? And will he to her? Only time will tell…

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, with Unseen Bits on Saturdays and Aftersun at 10pm on Sundays.
