Love Island fans will be gutted to know the final of the hit reality series is just around the corner.
During Sunday’s episode (July 16) of Aftersun, Sam Thompson joined presenter Maya Jama and podcast co-host Indiyah Polack when he unintentionally revealed the date while discussing the recent drama in the villa.
The former Made in Chelsea star, 30, explained that he felt Ella Barnes’ arrival came at the wrong time, given it’s only two and a half weeks before the show ends.

RadioTimes TV listings supports this, suggesting the live final will fall on Monday, July 31st, meaning viewers only have two weeks left before the show disappears for a year.
With just two weeks to go until the public crown their champions, fans have gone into meltdown over the lack of solid couples this close to the final.
Sharing their thoughts on social media, one person wrote: “This is the state of the couples and the final is in 2 weeks. Wrap it up”.
A second fan added: “This season is actually hilarious there’s 2 weeks left until the final and there are NO SOLID COUPLES”.
“How is the final in like 2 weeks and there is no top 4 couples,” agreed someone else.
Another penned: “The way the final is in 2 weeks and all the couple still have drama”.
While others fumed over the possibility of Zach and Molly making it to the final, simply because there are no other strong couples to compete with them.
“Molly and Zach sneaking their way into the final. I hate it here,” shared a viewer as another tweeted: “2 weeks left and Zach and Molly could make the final”.
A third echoed: “Guys we have to be vigilant otherwise molly and zach are gonna sneak their way into the final”.
Someone else added: “Y’all let Zach and Molly to the final and I’m never forgiving y’all”.
