Meghan Markle’s Suits return looks more imminent than ever as the show has been experiencing a resurgence on Netflix – shooting into the ‘most watched’ category on the streaming site.
The Duchess of Sussex played Rachel Zane in the hit show, which has been “shattering download records” for three weeks in a row, according to The Mirror.
The legal drama has been viewed for 3.1billion minutes between June 26th and July 2nd.

And despite acting “not being an area of focus” for Prince Harry ’s wife, it appears she’s having a total “rethink” if the show ends up being rebooted.

Starring Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht, the show officially ended in 2019 after Meghan quit to join the Royal Family – but fans are hoping for a new season.
Meghan signed with agency WME, who issued a statement back in April which read: “Acting will not be an area of focus. Meghan Markle will not be making a return in front of the camera and will not resume her career as an actress.”
However, things are quickly changing, and one senior studio executive told the Sunday Express: “All that has changed on a dime with her second coming on Suits.

“The Netflix figures are the talk of Hollywood and, with respect to the rest of her co-stars, Meghan is, without doubt, the driving force behind that.”
They added: “Love her or hate her, people can’t get enough of her and her advisers at WME are fully aware she can now command A-List-sized salaries for any film or TV projects in which she chooses to perform.”
“She might not want to step back on camera with two young children as well as a full workload with her and Harry’s Archewell production company. But can they afford for her to turn down what has become a golden opportunity?”

Executive producer for all nine seasons of the show, Gene Klein, has also teased a future for the series.
He explained: “I’d be surprised if we could thread that needle for a reunion, but I’d also be delighted if that happened because [when] you do a show for that long, everybody becomes such a good friend.”
But he would “assume” Meghan’s return is “just not possible”.
After the end of her Spotify podcast deal, however, it appears Meghan’s calendar could be emptying out – so anything is possible.
