Mischa Barton joined the cast of Neighbours for its Amazon Freevee reboot in September and has already made a splash.
The 37-year-old actress is best known for playing Marissa Cooper in The OC and has since appeared in Law and Order, Recovery Road and reality show The Hills: New Beginnings. In April this year it was announced that she would be a guest star in Neighbours as Reece Sinclair, an American new to Erinsborough who’s not quite who she appears to be.
Away from Ramsay Street, Mischa led a colourful love life. She dated socialist Brandon Davis from 2004 until 2005. He comes from a very wealthy family and is an oil heir.

From 2005 until 2007, the TV star was in a relationship with musician and record producer Cisco Adler. In 2017, Mischa won a revenge porn lawsuit against her former boyfriend, Jon Zacharias, stopping him from selling a sex tape of her.

She said at the time that she “came forward to fight this not only for myself but for all women out there”. Following the result, the soap star said she “hopes the case sets a precedent for women everywhere.
“Today was major not just for me but for women everywhere who get to decide what images of their body are shown.” It was ruled that Jon must stay 100 yards (91 metres) away from her at all times and hand in all explicit images of the star.

After they split, Mischa dated Australian model James Abercrombie from 2017 until 2019. Earlier this year, an article recirculated of the time Mischa claimed she was told to sleep with Leonardo DiCaprio when she was 19 and he was 30.
The star spoke to Harpers & Queen at the height of her fame in the teen drama, and recounted an incident where she and her publicist at the time saw Leonardo at a photoshoot in Malibu.
In the 2005 interview, Mischa said she was told: “For the sake of your career, go and sleep with that man.” Mischa said she was not interested in older men, telling the publication: “Isn’t Leo, like, 30 or something?”
