Former Nickelodeon favourite Drake Bell has been found “safe”.
Daytona Beach Police announced on Thursday (April 13) that the Drake and Josh star was missing and “endangered”.
However, a spokesperson for the department has since issued an update.

They told Page Six: “We can confirm law enforcement officials are in contact and Mr. Bell is safe.”
The force previously posted a statement on Facebook shortly after the disappearance which read: “**MISSING** Officers are looking for Jared Bell, DOB 06/27/1986.
“He should be travelling in a 2022 grey BMW and his last known location is potentially the area of Mainland High School on 4/12/2023 just before 9p.m. He is considered missing and endangered.”
Though some fans wondered if the post was a hoax, the Police Department clarified: “For those asking, this is a legitimate post from the Daytona Beach Police Department.”
Fans have been left “praying” for Drake to be found safe and well.
Drake has lived a troubled life since ending his Nickelodeon career.
In 2021 he pleaded guilty to attempted child endangerment after engaging in inappropriate conduct with a 15-year-old girl.
The pair had allegedly been involved in an online relationship before she turned up at a club where Bell was slated to perform.
Bell spoke out on Mexican TV show Ventaneando, explaining: ‘I was very stupid and irresponsible.
“Fans contact you on Instagram, but there was a girl I talked to and I didn’t pay attention to her age. When talking to her, she became obsessed and when I found out her age, I cut off communication, blocked her and that upset her..”
He was sentenced to 200 hours of community service along with a probationary period, and forbidden from contacting his victim.
The actor was also arrested back in 2015 for a DUI, to which he also pleaded guilty, and served a single day in jail, along with attending an alcohol education programme.
He had previously been charged for driving under the influence after a 2009 incident.
In January this year, Drake reportedly entered a treatment facility after he appeared to be sucking on a balloon in the front seat of his parked car for more than thirty minutes, with his young son in the car.
It is still unclear what, if any, substance was inside the balloons.
