Nicole Scherzinger is set to star as Norma Desmond in a major new West End production of Sunset Boulevard – 30 years after the show first opened.
Inspired by the 1950 film of the same name, the musical features songs by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, and features Norma, a silent film star whose career is fading, and she teams up with a young screenwriter named Joe Gillis as both seek to reach the heights of Hollywood fame.
Jamie Lloyd will direct the production, which will have a strictly limited 16-week run starting in September at the Savoy Theatre in central London.
