Notorious rapper selling used thong on eBay for 81p – but fans splash out £100k

US rapper Latto had a very unique way of hitting back at trolls who criticised her for wearing the same pair of knickers twice.

The notorious rap star took to eBay to flog her used leopard-print thong for just 99 cents – that’s 81p.

But eager fans were willing to splash out an eye-watering $100,000 – around £81,000 in pounds.

It all started when one Twitter troll took aim at Latto, 24, after she appeared to be wearing the same pair of panties in two snaps with the undies peeking over the top of her pants.

The confrontational post read: “Can’t afford new panties?” and added: “Flashing the same panties twice is crazy…”

Latto couldn’t resist chiming in on the original post, quipping: “Oh no, it’s the panty police.”

She later gave fans a glimpse of her underwear drawer, showing the camera a closet stocked full of undies she got from US supermarket Target – though she also had some designer knickers from Alexander Wang.

She said: “In light of my panty discrepancy yesterday, I’ve decided to give you guys an inside look in my panty drawer.”

In one final swipe at her haters, Latto decided to list her famous panties on eBay for just 99 cents – with free shipping.

Posting a snap of the auction to her Instagram, she quipped: “Auction live on eBay since I can’t wear them twice! Link in bio.”

In the pictures she could be seen wearing a pair of hot pink velvet sweatpants that read “Juicy” over the bum with the thong just peeking out above her waistline.

The pants didn’t stay that cheap for long, however, as one cheeky fan made a shocking bid of nearly $100,000 before eBay took down the auction – meaning the knickers couldn’t be sold after all.

Latto clearly had her fans flustered at the thought of selling her undies, as one Instagram user giggled: “Watch you make a million dollars!”

“Miss last laugh [for real],” someone else echoed, as a third fan said: “Smart!”

“LMAO you’re a troll and I live!” another social media user quipped.
