Clive Owen has shockingly announced that he’s bowing out of his hit spin-off series Beyond The Yorkshire Farm, following the devastating collapse of his marriage to Amanda Owen.
The TV farmer, 68, starred in the breakout series with his son Reuben, 19, after his 22-year marriage to wife Amanda, 48, collapsed.
The Channel 5 sensation hit the airwaves in December after the untimely cancellation of Our Yorkshire Farm, which catapulted the Owens to stardom in just five seasons.

Now, however, Clive is hanging up his boots and passing the torch to his son Reuben to go solo.
In a candid chat with Christine Lampard on ITV1’s Lorraine, Clive spilled the beans about his decision to step away from the spin-off, but he hasn’t slammed the door shut on a potential TV comeback.
Clive dished: “We’ve done this thing with Reuben, it’s been great fun working with him. Cos he’s crazy too, so we’ve had a grand time doing it. I think I’m stepping back from that now.
“I think he’s gonna go on on his own. Because he doesn’t want me on his hands. So, I have no plans to do anything in particular, but you never know, someone might be daft enough to ask me.”
The show features Clive and Reuben digging deep into the Dales with their business venture, while Reuben’s sweetheart Sarah Dow also chips in.
Although a second series is yet to be confirmed by Channel 5, Clive’s legions of fans will have to make do without him in the future.
The program raked in a whopping 1.8M viewers for Channel 5, leaving Amanda Owen’s new show, Farming Lives, in the dust with a meagre 600,000 viewers on More 4.
Later in the interview, Clive confessed to royally botching things up in his relationship with Amanda, saying: “All I am hearing is poor Clive which is not right.
“I handled it very badly, the show was such a change in our life and I sadly made a right mess of things and had a massive part to play in our relationship ending.”
