Pamela Anderson felt 'violated' by sex tape TV show – but doesn't blame Lily James

Pamela Anderson has said she felt “violated” by the makers of the TV series about her infamous sex tape – but she does not blame Lily James for portraying her in the show.

The Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy, chronicles the whirlwind romance of Baywatch star Anderson and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, played by Sebastian Stan, and the theft of their intimate video which was leaked on the internet in 1997.

The series was later nominated for a string of awards, including best actor and actress nods for James and Stan.

“I heard she’d been nominated for an Emmy, but maybe that was a joke.

“It’s not her fault; it’s a job. But whoever created it – well, it just feels like something else stolen.”

She added: “The love of my life was Tommy. It wasn’t perfect but, you know, no-one’s perfect”.

The 55-year-old’s new documentary, called Pamela, A Love Story, is set to premiere on January 31 and will chronicle her life and career.

And fans of the blonde bombshell, who shot to fame in the ‘90s, have been treated to a first-look at the show.

The trailer opens with Pamela discussing the controversy over her leaked sex tape with her ex-beau and hubby Tommy Lee.

“I didn’t sleep last night at all,” Pamela says at the beginning.

“I blocked that stolen tape out of my life in order to survive, and now that it’s all coming up again, I feel sick. I want to take control of the narrative for the first time.”

The Scary Movie star was referring to the recent hit TV miniseries Pam & Tommy, released last year which was about the infamous sex tape.

Aside from opening up about her relationship with Tommy, Pamela will also detail the ups and downs of her three-decade-long career, including her stint in Baywatch and her recent Broadway debut in Chicago.

“I didn’t feel like I had a lot of respect,” the actress says later on in the trailer.

“I had to make a career out of the pieces left, but I’m not the damsel in distress.”

Giggling, the stunner added: “I put myself in crazy situations … and survived them.”
