Pink soared to fame in the early 2000s thanks to her unique sound and rebellious attitude.
The singer, who was born Alecia Moore, began singing in nightclubs when she was just 14 before joining the girl band Choice.
After the group split in 1995, Pink signed a solo deal and released her first album, Cant Take Me Home five years later.

Later collaborating with Christina Aguilera and others to cover Lady Marmalade for 2001’s Moulin Rouge, she quickly became a music sensation and has been a prominent face in the music circuit for the last two decades.
In honour of Pink’s 44th birthday, Daily Star has looked back at some of her wildest confessions said during her career.
Nicknamed after genitals

While many believe Pink’s named stemmed from the colour of her hair, the singer once revealed the reason is a little more inappropriate than that.
When asked about the roots of her name, she revealed one of the main sources of inspiration was Quentin Tarantino’s 1992 film Reservoir Dogs.
In the crime film, actor Steve Buscemi stars as a character who is given the alias “Mr. Pink” during a bank heist.

Asked if people complained about the reference to the violent movie, Pink said: “I’ve been receiving complaints for a very long time. I’m OK with it and for the other reason my name is Pink. That’s inappropriate too.
She revealed: “My best friend had never seen a white girl’s vagina before so he asked me if I could see it, so I showed it to him and he said ‘It’s pink!’ Then my friends started calling me Mr. Pink.”
Caught in car

The Try hitmaker admitted to once being caught doing the deed in a car by her then-boyfriends mum.
When asked the worst thing she’s done in front of a partner’s parents, Pink told Q magazine: “Maybe getting caught having sex in the car.”
In an awkward turn of events, she added: “I’d met his mum before but she didn’t know her son was having sex at this point.”
No sex for one year

Pink tied the knot with former professional motocross champion Carey Hart in 2006 and share children Willow, 12 and Jameson, six, together.
The couple have split twice over the course of their 17-year marriage and revealed in an interview with The Guardian that there was a period where the couple didn’t have sex for one year.
In another interview with The Daily Telegraph, the Just Give Me a Reason songstress admitted she was annoyed when a woman questioned her about her lack of bedroom activity.

“A rude woman came at me last night and said that must be awful. It had never happened to her,” she told the publication.
“I felt a bit defensive. It was an embarrassing thing to say. It was an embarrassing thing to go through.”
She went on to say she is not afraid of speaking her truth, explaining if you put enough work into your relationship then things can get back on track.
Sex in public

During an appearance on The Ellen Show alongside Reese Wetherspoon, Pink didn’t hold back when confessing raunchy facts about herself.
Asked by Ellen if they had ever had sex in public, both women confirmed this was correct, with Pink revealing her romp took place in a park.
She went on to admit to “hooking up with someone while someone else was in the room,” with Pink completely owning the confession.

Back in 2012, Pink opened up about her rocky romance and admitted she once used sex to end an argument with her husband.
Recalling the worst fight they had ever had, she explained it was a six-hour screaming match until she abruptly decided to stop.
Covering the November issue of The Advocate, she wrote: “I was like, ‘You know what? Will you just come here and f-ck me?’ And he was like, ‘Wha-wha-what?’
“I was like, ‘Yeah! I’m done fighting. Just come here and f-ck me — that’s all this is about.’ He was like, ‘OK!'”
