Saturday Kitchen Live in chaos as guest fumes ‘how dare you’ after host ‘mocks her’

BBC’s Saturday Kitchen Live faced an awkward moment after guest Andi Oliver fumed “don’t mock me” at host Matt Tebbutt.

The hit BBC One show was back on TV screens on Saturday (April 22) – with host Matt back at the helm of the cooking programme.

Joining Matt was chefs Andi and Chet Sharma, as well as writer Adam Kay and drinks expert Olly Smith.

But minutes into the show airing, things took an awkward turn when Matt hit out at guest chef Andi for “always moaning.”

“I’m nearly 50, I’ve got a long list,” Matt said, jokingly referring to his health problems.

He then pointed over to Andi in the kitchen and said: “Andi is going to join in as well.”

To which she fumed back: “How dare you?” followed by laughter from their fellow guests.

“Listen,” the TV chef began before she was interrupted by Matt who joked: “She’s always moaning about something.”

Andi fired back at the host

Gobsmacked at his reply, Andi fired back: “Moaning about something?! I’ve got a bad arm, and I’ve now got my hearing aid.”

She then pointed to the host and said: “Don’t mock me,” to which Matt swiftly moved on with the show.

Proving the two are really good friends, in the episode Andi and Matt recalled a “mini-break” the pair had recently which inspired Andi’s dish on the show.

Andi cooked up a storm on the BBC show

The telly chef was there to cook up a storm for the guests and the menu this time was Pudding In South, a speciality from Barbados.

While doctor-turned-author Adam Kay made an appearance to discuss his latest children’s book.

Andi’s dig at Matt is not the only Saturday Kitchen Live drama to happen recently, as last week things turned to chaos after Alison Roman took a fall on the show and declared she’s “never coming back to London.”

The US-based chef was on the show to talk about her desserts, but thinks took a quick turn when she misttok to the wine table for a chair and took quite a tumble.

Matt laughed and asked if she was okay which prompted Alison to respond: “That is not a chair!,” while Matt asked: “Did you just sit on the wine table?”

She added: “I did! Never coming back to London ever again,” while Matt told Helen to “give her a drink quick!”
