Saturday Night Takeaway chaos as Andi Peter suffers technical blunder live on air

Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were left in hysterics after a major technical blunder.

On February 25th’s episode, the Geordie duo were back with a return of the new series, but things went a little wrong later in the show.

During a segment with Andi Peters, the sound disappeared leaving him muted to viewers at home.

Fans thought this was hilarious, with many commenting on line about the blunder.

One wrote: “Andi Peters’ microphone is not working! #SaturdayNightTakeaway”

A second added: “Personally I wouldn’t be doing an open mic night with Andy… just a hunch #SaturdayNightTakeaway”

Another joked: “Can we keep Andi Peters on mute? #SaturdayNightTakeaway”

“I think Andi Peters standing miming with a giant cat was unintentionally funniest moment of the night!,” another shared.

Another posted: “Ant “we can’t hear Andy peters” me “thank f***” can’t bare him #SaturdayNightTakeaway”

While another joked: “Whoever muted Andi Peters deserves a pay rise. #SaturdayNightTakeaway”

This comes after viewers thought the series came back to screens with a “cruel” twist.

Ant and Dec pulled a prank on fan Liam, who was set up by his wife, Amy, who was pregnant at the time.

The couple went for a 4D scan to see their unborn baby, but little did the new dad know, it wasn’t his baby they saw.

Though ITV viewers found the joke to be “distasteful” shared their thoughts on the matter.

While a third shared: “No one can be as gullible as that bloke on #SaturdayNightTakeaway. You’re telling me no one at his work told him unborn babies can’t rock out to music? A complete set up. What have they done to earn 18 grand? Joke.”
