Sharon Osbourne opened up on her weight loss struggle as she admitted that she feels “depressed” at her situation.
The former X Factor judge has been known for her fluctuating figure over the years, but has recently looked slimmer than ever after taking a new drug which is similar to Wegovy. However she admitted that it has had the reverse affect, as she thinks that losing too much weight does not suit her.
She took to her show The Talk alongside the likes of former GMTV star Penny Smith, Kevin O’Sullivan and commentator Afua Hagan where she spoke about the concept of a new weight loss drug on her show. “There isn’t one, my entire life and I’m 70, I have fought weight, my entire life,” Sharon admitted.

Sharon continued: “It’s affected my life to such a point. I had the gastric band, and had that removed, because it didn’t work after a while. I then had the sleeve and you can’t reverse the sleeve because they cut your stomach in half.”

The star added: “It is what it is. You are stuck with that. After a while, it’s all up here [in your mind]. It’s all mental.” And although the new drugs had worked, Sharon now feels that she looks too skinny.
As a result this has left her with “depression” as she is unable to put on any weight as a side effect. “Now it’s got a reverse effect on me personally, I don’t know for everybody, I’m sure not,” Osbourne explained. “I can’t put on weight now, no matter whatever I eat. I’m stuck at this weight.”

“It’s like my entire life I’ve wanted to be a certain weight, never got there, and now I have and it doesn’t suit me and I don’t like it and I can’t change it.” The former rock mogul added: “The thing about weight, it’s a personal thing… for me it caused depression.”
On the same show, Sharon waded into the controversy surrounding Roger Waters and allegations of antisemitism. The TalkTV star blasted the musician and didn’t hold back her feelings on claims the Pink Floyd co-founder had continually used anti-Jewish references.

“Firstly because I’m a Jew… I know him, I know his reputation that precedes him in our industry,” Osbourne said. “He laughs, he’s always telling jokes about Jews, always making comments about money. The cliched, old time opinion,” Sharon exclaimed.
She added: “He must have really lost the plot and should really go and actually take his life and live in an old people’s home and leave the Jews alone… That is where he belongs. This has been going on for years.”
