Snoop Dogg has admitted that he once had a pet cockroach named The Gooch who grew as big as a dollar bill.
The Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper said he originally wanted to get rid of the critter when he spotted it wandering around in his apartment.
But when his attempt to kill it failed, he decided the roach would be his pet instead so he started caring for it.

“The Gooch used to live with me,” he said in an interview with celeb journalist Nardwuar.
“In my apartment, I had a roach that we couldn’t kill.
“We tried to kill the motherf****** when we first moved in and he wouldn’t die, so we called him The Gooch and he kept just getting bigger and bigger.”
Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr, said he kept his unusual pet for a while and gave it food, which helped it to reach quite the size.
“I stayed in that apartment for about, like, six, seven months,” he said.
“We would leave food out for him and everything.”
“Cuz grew to the size of about a whole dollar bill,” said the US star, 51.
“He was the size of a dollar bill.”
Fans were tickled by the tale and many flocked to social media to comment.
