It was not just fame that his acting career brought either, but also love, as Tobey met jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer while working on Seabiscuit at Universal Studios in 2003.

They became engaged in 2006 and in the same year welcomed a daughter, before marrying in 2007. They also have a son born in 2009.

However Tobey and Jennifer have since filed for divorce in 2020.

Another one of Tobey’s relationships that is in the limelight is his friendship with Leonardo Di Caprio, which has span for more three decades.

The pair met while at an audition for 1990’s Parenthood and became best friends from there, appearing in films such as This Boy’s Life.

Speaking about their friendship, Tobey told People: “[Leo and I] are like any other buddies. There’s a lot of laughing and chatting between us.

“We enjoy doing a lot of things we have in common, like basketball. We like to play and talk about basketball.”

Andrew Garfield was one of the next Hollywood hunks to take on the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in two Amazing Spider-Man films between 2012 to 2014.

Despite a stellar acting career, Andrew also revealed that he was told he was not considered “handsome enough” to play the role of Prince Caspian in the Narnia films.

Speaking on Entertainment Tonight, Andrew said that he was “desperate” to get the role of Prince Caspian in the 2007 film, and that the choice was between him and Shadow and Bone actor Ben Barnes.

After Ben Barnes was offered the role of Prince Caspian, Andrew then called his agent and asked why he was not considered for the part.

It is then reported that Andrew was told that he was not considered “handsome enough” for the part.

However, Andrew has revealed that there are no hard feelings and praised Ben Barnes for his performance as Prince Caspian in the second Narnia film, which was named after the fictional character.

Chris later addressed the rumours and confirmed Harry did not spit on him, saying to Esquire: “Harry did not spit on me.

“Harry’s a very kind guy … I’m flying back from Venice and I’m sleeping, having a great time on the plane, I love planes, and [my publicist] wakes me up in a, you know, state and said, ‘We have to craft a message about what happened in Venice.’

“And I was like, ‘About what?’ ‘About Harry spitting on you,’ which I had no idea what happened.”

He continued: “She showed me the thing and it does look, indeed, like Harry’s spitting on me. He didn’t spit on me.”

In his personal life, Chris is reported to be single, but has been linked to some very famous faces in the past – including Audrina Patridge, Olivia Munn, Dominique Piek, Zoe Kravitz and Anabelle Wallis.
