Strictly Come Dancing pro ‘to quit as dancer and become a judge’ like Anton Du Beke

A Strictly Come Dancing star could be joining the judges panel full-time like co-star Anton Du Beke, claims AI.

The professional dancer, 57, has been on the glitzy BBC One since the series first began back in 2004. During his stint as a professional dancer, he was partnered with celebs including EastEnders’ Patsy Palmer and Emma Barton.

But in 2021, it was revealed that Anton would be replacing Bruno Tonioli on the judges panel – who bowed out of the show after 18 years. And it seems Anton as a judge went down a treat with viewers and bosses as he’s returned to the panel for this year’s series too.

But apparently, a pro dancer could be following suit and joining the judging panel as well. Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see what professionals could become a judge on Strictly.

The program responded: “There are a few Strictly Come Dancing pro dancers who could potentially become judges on the show. However the system claims there is “one dancer who stands out.

It explained: “Giovanni Pernice is a highly skilled and experienced dancer, having won the Italian Championships 10 times and the World Championships once. He has also been a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing since 2015, and has reached the final four times.”

The program went on: “In addition to his dancing skills, Pernice is also a charismatic and engaging personality. He is known for his positive attitude and his ability to connect with the audience. He is also a good communicator, and is able to give clear and constructive feedback.”

Bard AI also suggested Johannes Radebe as another dancer who could become a judge on Strictly Come Dancing. The system said: “Johannes is another highly skilled and experienced dancer. He is a South African Latin Champion and a World Cup Finalist. He joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2019, and has quickly become one of the most popular dancers on the show.”

It went on: “Johannes is known for his flamboyant personality and his energetic dance performances. He is also a good communicator, and is able to give clear and constructive feedback.”

The system did note that both Giovanni and Johannes are “still relatively young” but the pair have already “achieved a great deal in their careers.” It added: “They are both popular with the Strictly Come Dancing audience, and they have the skills and experience to be successful judges on the show.

“Of course, there are other pro dancers on Strictly Come Dancing who could also become judges. However, Pernice and Radebe are two dancers who stand out as having the potential to follow in Anton Du Beke’s footsteps.”
