The Apprentice fans were left worried for Lord Sugar’s latest batch of candidates just minutes into the first episode of 2023.
As the BBC show kicked off for another series, the 18 newbies were shipped off to Antigua to organise and flog excursions to eager punters, before leading them on a tour of the local area.
Things didn’t get off to a great start, however, as both the boys and girls were forced to drop the prices of their tickets – and the girls only managed to flog 12 of the 16 tickets they had available.

Viewers at home, however, were more concerned for the candidates’ health – as they were all wrapped up in suits, jackets and waistcoats under the blazing sun.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “The idea of them wearing business clothes in the heat of Antigua is giving me anxiety. I can’t even manage anything approaching a fitted shirt on the Central Line!”
Someone else said: “Watching everyone walk around Antigua’s beaches in Dorothy Perkins office wear is so funny – couldn’t Alan just chuck ‘em a pair of shorts?”
“Obsessed with this, full suits and waistcoats in a boiling hot country,” a third posted.
As another said: “I know they’re suppose to look professional on #TheApprentice but they are in the hot sun, for god’s sake lads open up the top button, change your dark, (for some reason) long sleeved dress. Are you not roasting!”
Other fans were simply baffled as to why anyone would buy a tour from the Apprentice gang while on holiday to a pricey location.
Also a point of contention was the fact that the girls decided to run a pottery class as part of their tour.
One posted: “Can’t think of anything l’d rather do in a hot country other than… erm… a pottery class.”

“If I was on holiday having dinner and five blokes in suits surrounded our table trying to sell us tickets for some tour, they’d be well and truly told to f**k off,” one fan said.
Another agreed: “I wouldn’t trust these lot in their three piece suits on a beach as I’m sipping my 3rd Cosmopolitan of the morning. It would be giving scam.”
As a fourth said: “If you were relaxing in Antigua would you buy a holiday tour off a huddle of corporate men and women in suits???”
