The Masked Singer's Fawn identity 'confirmed' as body language clues 'expose' celeb

The Masked Singer has kept fans captivated since its fourth series returned on New Year’s Day.

Each week, the judges and viewers have been speculating which celebrities are hiding behind the elaborate disguises and have been stunned by some of the reveals.

Tonight, detective panel Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan will watch Phoenix, Fawn and Rhino take to the stage one final time as they battle it out to be crowned this year’s champion.

One star who has impressed since their first performance is Fawn, wowing the judges and audience with her renditions of Paloma Faith’s Changing and Disney classic Beauty and the Beast.

From the moment she made her debut, viewers were certain that All Saints star Natalie Appleton was behind the mask, with many convinced of this due to her distinctive vocals.

Ahead of the final, it seems Fawn’s identity has now been “confirmed” as the Canadian singer, 49, following a series of telling clues.

Celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman spoke exclusively to Daily Star after analysing Fawn’s performances and found countless similarities between Fawn and Natalie on stage.

She said: “Fawn’s performance of Beauty and the Beast is a masterclass in understated physical expression.

“As she sings, her hands never stop ‘acting’. At times Fawn uses her hands to punctuate her sounds, stroking the air and emoting, and other times she uses little fawny gestures, curling her palms into paws, committing to her role, not just of the masked singer, but of the full singing-dancing fawn.”

The expert continued: “This constant focus shows that she’s very keen to succeed. Goal oriented and motivated. This is a passionate, focused person who wants to walk away knowing she’s done her absolute best.

“However, what happens below the belt is an entirely different story. She doesn’t tap her tows or sway her hips to the beat” – a style that mimics Natalie during her performances and music videos.

Inbaal added: “This tells us that Fawn isn’t someone who lives and dies by music. She may sing but it’s likely she doesn’t play an instrument and isn’t a songwriter.”
