This Morning’s Dermot O’Leary told co-host Alison Hammond to “shut up” after she revealed that he had confessed his “love” to her during an ad break.
Coming back on-screen after the This Morning competition aired, Alison beamed as she welcomed viewers back.
“Awww that was such a lovely thing that you just said there,” she said to her co-host while turning to look at him.

Jovially snapping back at Alison, Dermot was clearly embarrassed by his declaration when he said: “Shut up. Don’t tell people what I just said. I was just being nice.”
“Wanna know what he said?” Alison teased while looking into the camera and grinning widely.
“Oh, shut up everyone,” Dermot then added – worried that Alison was going to tell viewers what he had said.
“He said ‘I love you’ and I went ‘aw thanks’ and that’s made me all funny,” Alison revealed, before saying she felt “all gooey inside”.
Dermot then chimed in and said that Alison was “grassing him up for being nice”, with Alison adding: “I love you too, bab, I love you too.”
This comes as the hosts headed up the Friday episode on April 7 ahead of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
The start of the show got off to a cracking star when Gyles Brandreth and Carol Vorderman appeared in the studio for a topical discussion.
Gyles could be seen sitting beside Carol while donning an elaborate jumper – which featured a 3D rabbit’s head on the front.
Making a funny quip after Alison gushed over the sweet and wacky jumper, Carol said: “And I’ve been feeding you carrots.
Gyles then added: “You have been feeding me carrots.”
“Carrots and coffee,” Carol then chimed in sweetly.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
