90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed looks totally unrecognisable after hitting the gym for an epic weight loss transformation.
The TLC reality star crashed onto our screens when he became involved with single mum Rosemarie Vega, who hailed from the Philippines. Determined to marry her, American Ed was 54 at the time, while Rose was just 23. After going viral for slamming Rose’s hairy legs, the pair split, and he moved on with his The Single Life co-star Liz Woods.
In a new video posted to his social media, Ed – real name Edward Allen Brown – rocked a black vest top with a pig on the front, bearing the slogan: “Body by bacon.” He added a pair of black shorts and bright blue sneakers to his workout ‘fit, along with a black baseball cap and gloves for gripping.

He worked on the weights machines while telling fans: “Down 19lbs!!” from his total body weight. He originally lost 25 pounds after splitting from Liz, and as of March 2024, he weighed in at 228lbs.
Fans rushed to support Ed in the comments section, with one writing: “Looking LEAN Ed!” while someone else said: “Keep up the hard work Ed, you look great.” A third user echoed: “Great job Ed! Keep it up. You’ll feel so much healthier.”
Someone else said: “Hell yeah, get the grind.” And another social media user penned: “He always does this after a break-up.”
Ed has Klippel-Feil syndrome, a rare disorder which affects his neck. He explained: “It looks like I actually don’t have a neck, but I do. I have three vertebrae that are the size of two when most normal humans from this world have seven. And I have a bigger than normal chest cavity so I’ve been bullied all my life.”
The star confessed he was bullied from a young age about his condition, and that only worsened when he became a viral meme on 90 Day Fiancé. But he admitted it takes a special kind of confidence in oneself to rub mayonnaise in your hair on national TV, which is exactly how he dealt with the trolls at the time.
He said: “You can love who you are. There is nothing you can change about yourself. Accept that and you’ll be fine.”

But on his insecurities, he told People Magazine: “I mean, I still dye my hair, I still get my eyebrows done. I’m very conscious of my physical fitness and I don’t like getting old, I don’t like looking old or being old. And I didn’t like my dad bod. So I’m getting rid of that. I’m trying to, you know, recaptured my youth.”
He works with a professional MMA boxer and enjoys hiking to achieve his weight loss goals – undergoing “hour and a half boxing lessons as well as weight training”. He’s also ditched bread, sugar and sweets from his diet.
