A Place in the Sun’s Ben Hillman was left so speechless after a buyer’s first impression that he stormed off.
During Tuesday’s (May 7) episode, the telly favourite was tasked with helping Wiltshire lass Liv find her dream holiday home in Cyprus. He was armed with a budget of £87,000 and a tiny bit of leeway to stretch to £90,000.
The young buyer, brought her friend Daisy along to viewings and was on the hunt for a two-bed apartment by the sea. She was hoping for a communal pool and a modern vibe to fulfil her boyfriend’s preference.

Ben kicked things off with a bang, showing off a snazzy two-bedroom flat in Argaka priced at £83,000, boasting a balcony with stunning views, a spacious living area, and a fresh, contemporary feel. As soon as Liv stepped into the living room, she was over the moon.
She excitedly exclaimed: “It is completely what I’m looking for.” Ben, full of jest, pretended to leave the scene, quipping: “See you later! ” before spinning back to the gals, remarking: “What a great start.”
The property viewing hit another high when, out on the balcony, the girls were wowed, with Daisy chiming in: “Beautiful! I think you’ve won with this one.”
Eager to know if he’d nailed it, Ben probed: “Have I found you your perfect property? ” To which Daisy enthusiastically responded: “You’ve found me my perfect holiday home!”
Property guru Ben was chuffed to bits, quipping to the camera: “While I’m not one to count my chickens, I think I’ve cracked this one.” The Channel 4 star then whisked Liv and Daisy off to see four more potential homes.
He completely nailed the brief and ticked all of the boxes for the pair every single time. Despite being wowed by most of them, it was the first that stole the show.
But in normal formate, it was the very last property that won them over. But the price tag was slightly more than their budget coming in at £94,000. However, she thought she’d try her luck with a cheeky offer under asking price.
Liv opted for £80k as her initial offer but it was rejected. She stood her ground and upped the anti to £82,000 and the owner accepted her second bid.
