Amanda Holden has shared the dress that “sealed the deal” with her husband, Chris Hughes.
The TV favourite, 53, is no stranger to showing off her stellar style. For years, Amanda has been wowing fans thanks to her jaw-dropping fashion choices, including the likes of skimpy bikinis and plunging dresses.
And apparently, there is one frock in particular that “sealed the deal” for her husband Chris. Amanda and music producer husband Chris started dating in 2004. By 2008 the pair were married and they also share two daughters, Lexi and Hollie.

In a recent social media post, Amanda took part in a Q&A as part of her new campaign with Lipsy. Dressed in a skintight aqua dress, the actress looked stunning as she told fans things about her life “that I probably shouldn’t.”
One of the questions that popped up was: “What have you kept in your wardrobe the longest?” Amanda revealed: “I had the style sisters round to my house and I found the outfit that sealed the deal with my husband.”
However, it seems the fancy frock had slipped her husband’s mind. Amanda went on: “It was Versace. I ran down gleefully showing my husband and he did not remember it, so that was charming!”
Amanda, 52, met record producer Chris in 2003 during a trip to Los Angeles, but they only started dating the following year. In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, she said: “The main secret behind a successful marriage is to have a bloody good sense of humour! Plus, I really fancy Chris.
We’ll be eating dinner in a restaurant, he’ll go to the loo, then I’ll look up and catch a glimpse of a man and think he’s fit! Then I’ll realise, ‘Gosh, that’s my husband!’ I still fancy him. Also, Chris challenges me and I challenge him – that’s another secret to a good marriage.”
This maxi length slip dress with v-neck shaping and a refined silhouette sits underneath a cropped skinny fitting jumper made from a soft and fluffy yarn.
The Amos is clean and minimal – the perfect combo for stand out styling. These two work together or apart – maybe add a leather jacket or chunky boots as the finishing touch.

Speaking to HELLO! about her marriage in 2019, Amanda revealed: “Chris is very funny and errs on the side of lightness. We can make jokes out of any situation throughout the best and darkest times of our lives.”
She went on: “He’s rubbish at romance, but he’s there for the solid things – such as keeping my car clean and making sure I relax.”
In December last year, Amanda shared a loving tribute as she posed with Chris, her husband, with a sweet black and white face-to-face snap to mark their 20-year anniversary. Amanda wrote: “15 years ago today, I married my best friend. 20 years together. 2 Girls. An angel boy and we have made a beautiful life together!!! (having said everything above, we still bicker every day)”
