Anne Hathaway shot to fame after her iconic makeover scene in the Princess Diaries, and she’s been one of our favourite actresses ever since.
Since then she has starred in a horde of blockbuster hits including The Devil Wears Prada, which premiered at the LA Film Festival, exactly 18 years ago today (June 22). Nevertheless, the actress’ age is hard to pin down, perhaps thanks to her incredible beauty.
Now a series of TikTok videos have been made to celebrate Anne’s age-defying looks, with clips compiled over the years showcasing her lasting youthful glow.

If you’re curious, she’s actually 41 – a revelation that’s left some fans baffled. Social media users have heaped praises on her, dubbing her “perfect”. One person said: “She looks so good.” Another also added: “Doesn’t age at all.” A third even joked: “She’s a vampire.”
Despite the compliments about her striking looks, the Hollywood starlet had a few words for those who commend her on “looking good” for her age. Last year, during a conversation with Today’s Sheinelle Jones, she opened up about what people often say about her appearance.
Reflecting on her rise to stardom as a teen, she discussed the old Hollywood myths about ageing.
“I started in this business when I was 17 years old, in a very different era,” she said. “There was this perception that there was going to be a cliff, and that cliff was a really young age. And the world’s changed since then.”
In the candid chat, she also dished out her personal views on getting older. When quizzed on how she handles comments like “Oh, you’re ageing gracefully” or “Oh, you look so good for your age”, she had the perfect response.
Anne added: “I don’t think about age. To me, ageing is another word for living.”
