BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty had to team up with a new face this weekend after Charlie Stayt’s replacement also disappeared.
Naga was hosting the show with Ben Thompson while Charlie was off this week, and viewers appeared to be really enjoying them together.
But when people switched on their TVs on Saturday (March 30) morning, they saw Naga with Roger Johnson instead of Ben, who was also off for the Easter break and they share the big news of the day with viewers watching at home.

They chatted with weather presenter Matt Taylor too who told told fans what the forecast will be like over Easter, saying there might be some rain and clouds by the sea on Saturday and it could get a bit frosty as we get ready for British Summer Time. Naga is expected to have Sunday off as well, because she and Charlie usually don’t work that day, reports the Express.
Earlier this week, Naga failed to mince her words as she told her one of her colleagues off for jokingly leaving her out. The 49-year-old was on the famous red sofa with Ben on Friday (March 29 morning). Discussing the latest bank holiday getaways that people across the nation have planned, the presenters spoke to reporter Katie who was live from Manchester airport.
As Katie finished her segment, Ben said: “Yes Katie, very jealous of those jetting off for their holiday weekend. I know you’ll be at the airport for us going nowhere, but we’ll talk to you a little later, Katie thank you.”
Chiming in, Naga sarcastically replied: “Why are you jealous? You get to be here? Ben then said: “Oh yeah that’s true. Yeah you’re right.” Sports presenter Mike Bushell who was also on the sofa at the time then said: “At least Ben got the memo! Katie, us two, Naga?” Mike then pointed out that Ben, Katie and himself were all wearing pink but Naga was not.
Looking over at her outfit, Ben tried to suggsest that Naga’s blouse had pink tones. But as the two men giggled, Naga didn’t see the funny side. Unimpressed with their stance, Naga jokingly snapped back. She then said if they had “bothered” to call her up to inform her, she would have worn pink too.
Noticing their interaction, one viewer seemed to think they might have worked out why Naga may not have been in a great mood. Heading over to X formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: “Wow Naga is grumpy this morning, is it because she’s having to work the Bank Holiday,” followed by a laughing emoji.
