Tasha Ghouri added a sweet hidden detail to her Strictly outfit.
The dancing sensation took to social media to show off her bedazzled cochlear implant, which is a surgically implanted device that helps process sound for people who are hard of hearing. The blonde bombshell jazzed the device, which is worn in her ear and attached to the side of her head, to match her gorgeous outfit for the first Strictly Come Dancing live show.
Ghouri’s hidden gems may not be instantly visible but they were certainly eye-catching on the dance floor, where she twirled with partner Aljaz Skorjanec. Tasha styled her hair in a high, curled ponytail to draw more attention to her rhinestone’d implant.

The 26 year old starlet, known for her stint on Love Island in 2022, flaunted a side-view snap of the glittery implant fitted on Instagram, a device which she has sported since before she turned five-years-old.
In the caption, Tasha exclaimed: “Woke up feeling such joy @bbcstrictly my first live show complete! I am still speechless, sure did feel emotional but was such a surreal feeling what an honour to do it with you @aljazskorjanec ! We went out there and danced like no one was watching, core memory I’ll remember forever. Thank you for being a great teacher and just fabulous.. GET IN!”
Her followers were quick to jump into her comments with messages of amazement and support. One fan gushed: “IM STILL LIKE PINCH ME CAUSE THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE? ! ! ! Who’s excited for next week because I am!”
Another fan gushed with pride, saying: “So proud of you girl, you were incredible out there! officially living your childhood dream! bring on week 2,” reports the Mirror. Hot on their heels, another added: “Smashed it! ! ! Can’t wait to see what’s next x.”
Grinding and gruelling practices sees the celebs and their pro partners dancing up to ten hours a day. The reality TV sensation opened up about the intense ‘concentration fatigue’ she suffers while training with her dance partner Aljaz.
In a heart-to-heart with the Strictly pro, Tasha admitted she finds the rigorous rehearsal schedule challenging: “I think when you grow up with deafness you learn how to adapt. I can suffer from concentration fatigue from lip reading all day. There may be times when I have a power nap for ten to 20 minutes just to get myself back and re-energised.”
She also confessed her desire to ditch the cochlear implant during performances to fully immerse herself in the music, saying: “I would love to take my cochlear implant out to really feel the music. Feel the vibrations. To feel ‘ok this is how it’s going to feel on Saturday night.”
