AI has waded in on the possible identity of Britain’s Got Talent star Bobby Goldfinn.
The unique comedian has been causing havoc throughout this year’s series with his infamous costume and repetitive lines. Appearing on the first episode of BGT, during his audition Bobby Goldfinn left judges Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon confused.
Wearing a goldfish mask and tailored suit jacket, Bobby’s act mainly consisted of introducing himself saying: “Hi, I’m Bobby Goldfinn.” But just like a real-life goldfish, he appears to forget the rest of his joke and repeats the same line once again.

Despite receiving four buzzers from the judges, Bobby returned to the stage again. During Sunday night’s show (May 26), Bobby was let loose and appeared on the main stage again.
But who is behind the infamous goldfish costume? AI has provided certain clues.
Member of staff
AI seems to believe that a crew member that works on Britain’s Got Talent could be Bobby Goldfish. Viewers don’t always get to see those who work behind the scenes on the actual show itself so this could be a possible trail of thought.
Artificial Intelligence said: “While less likely, there’s a slight chance the masked persona could be a crew member. Or a judge, or someone involved with the show’s production taking on a comedic challenge.”
Mark Wright
But as well as a mystery member of staff, AI seems to think a celebrity could be behind the mask. AI has also suggested that former TOWIE star Mark Wright could be Bobby Goldfinn.
AI suggested that Mark, who is married to actress Michelle Keegan may want to try his hand at comedy. It said: “The former TOWIE star and TV presenter might surprise viewers with a hidden talent for stand-up comedy.”
Mark and his wife Michelle recently celebrated their nine-year anniversary with a holiday. But due to the BGT auditions being filmed a few months prior to when it’s aired, could Mark be a possibility?
Inbetweeners star
AI seems to also think that an actor who starred in hit comedy series, The Inbetweeners could also be behind the funny costume. Suggesting that Bobby Goldfinn could link to their comedic roots, this could also be a likely possibility.
AI said: “Imagine James Buckley (Jay) or Simon Bird (Will) from the iconic sitcom “The Inbetweeners” doing stand-up anonymously. This could be a fun surprise for fans.”
Hugh Grant
At age 63, English actor Hugh Grant is still booked and busy. The Notting Hill star most recent credit was the Hollywood smash, Wonka where he played an Oompa Loompa.
But would the star have time to take on a new comedic venture? AI seems to think so.
It said: “The renowned actor known for his romantic comedies might surprise viewers with a talent for observational humour behind the mask.”
Benedict Cumberbatch
AI has also thrown actor Benedict Cumberbatch’s name into the ring. Benedict who is known for his roles in Sherlock and Marvel’s Doctor Strange is also a very busy star.
But AI seems to think they he may want to explore comedy too. IT said: “While not typically associated with stand-up, Benedict Cumberbatch’s acting range could translate well to comedic timing under the mask.”
David Beckham
AI has predicted that maybe sporting legend and heartthrob David Beckham could be Bobby Goldfinn. Although David has never attempted stand-up comedy before, AI believes this may give the footy icon a chance to showcase another side of his personality.
It said: “The former football superstar attempting stand-up under the mask could be a way to showcase a different side of his personality.” Fans will have to wait and see if this could be true.
