Big Brother icon Nadia Almada looked remarkably different from her Channel 4 days as she graced the Loose Women panel this week.
On Tuesday afternoon (August 14), she appeared on the ITV show, as she marked 20 years since her historic victory in the reality show. However, the star looked remarkably different from her Channel 4 days.

The reality star dazzled as she joined the Loose Women to discuss her monumental win two decades ago. Sporting long blonde hair, a stark contrast to the curly black locks she had back in 2004, and she looked stunning.
The former Big Brother winner donned a khaki dress, matching with Rylan Clark who was ‘fangirling’ over his idol. The Portuguese singer reflected on the “life changing moment” of winning the show and reminisced about her time in the house 20 years ago.
As the panel chuckled over her iconic moments showering in heels in the house, Nadia likened the show to an “essentially prison made of cardboard.” However, she went on to describe how she felt ‘spiritually free’ during the ‘liberating’ process.
Reflecting on old photos of herself from that time, Nadia expressed regret for her younger self: “Looking at those pictures I need to profusely apologise to her for fat shaming her, objectifying her, for mistreating her,” she said, visibly emotional.
The star opened up about her life post-show, revealing she’s been working as a hairstylist after training with the renowned Sassoon Academy. Fans were thrilled to see her back on the telly, with one viewer taking to social media to gush: “So lovely to see @nadiaalmadatv on @loosewomen today. I’d forgotten how chatty and likeable she actually is! They deffo need to bring her back as a panellist in the future.”
Another fan fondly recalled: “I remember the early days of Big Brother – where it’d be broadcast around the clock and you’d tune in at 3am and there’d be just a live feed of everyone sleeping.”
Before her appearance on Loose Women, the star took to X, previously known as Twitter, to reflect on the significant anniversary, writing: I’m throwing it back to 2004.
“Not only I won Big Brother but also captured the nation’s heart. a moment where humanity prevailed and transcended bias beliefs,” she penned. “That moment felt like a turning point for trans rights. It sparked important conversations that we’re still having today”.
She also shared the emotional video of the moment she was announced as the winner by then-host, Davina McCall. “To all the trans youth out there, know that you are loved and seen. Let’s keep the momentum going and create a world where everyone feels accepted and respected. Big Brother, thank you! ” she added in the comments.
